What is DigiSign?
DigiSign is a digital signature platform that allows users to securely sign using biometrics (facial recognition) and BVN or NIN, create and send documents online. It provides a secure way to handle document signing processes without the fear of fraud or identity theft.
How does DigiSign work?
DigiSign works by enabling users to upload PDF documents that require signatures, add signature fields, and send them to recipients for signing. Recipients can then electronically sign the documents upon providing their BVN or NIN and taking a liveness test by doing some gestures to confirm the signer of the document is alive and matching their facial features using artificial intelligence. There’s also an option of taking passive facial image capture. Whichever your option is, DigiSign is able verify the identity of the signer. Once all parties have signed, the completed document is then sent to both signee and signer and can be downloaded or shared as needed.
Is DigiSign legally binding?
Yes, DigiSign offers legally binding electronic signatures that comply with various regulations in Nigeria.
What types of documents can be signed with DigiSign?
DigiSign supports a wide range of document types, including contracts, agreements, proposals, forms, and more. Users can only upload documents in PDF format

How long are signed documents stored on DigiSign?
Signed documents are automatically sent to the signee and signer once all parties have signed the document. DigiSign does not currently have a repository where documents can be managed.
